Keep reading this summer!

Manchester is bursting with ways to get connected with books this summer--and earn some prizes too--although the real prize is getting "lost" in a wonderful story, or learning all about something new in a non-fiction book. Here are some of the ways to get books this summer:

*Our own Little Free Library at Wilson School
Open 24/7! I will be stocking the library with new books once a week!
little free library at 401 Wilson St.

*Story Time for Kindergarten and First Grade at Wilson
July 10, 17, 24, & 31 from 11:30-12:30. I will be reading/telling Trickster Tales on July 17th!

*Hear a story and pick a book from the new Book Mobile! The bookmobile will visit parks and schools around the city, with 2 stops every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. The closest stop to Wilson is Beech Street School, where the Book Mobile will stop on Fridays from 10:30-12. I will be there on July 13th and 20th. You can find the full schedule here

*Manchester Public Library, along with libraries around the state, will be running its Summer Reading Program
This year the theme is "Libraries Rock!" (Can you find the toy guitars hidden around the library? More information here

So there you have it! Have some fun in the sun this summer, but spend some time under a tree with a good book too! Happy Reading!
